Board Service Series

LISD will host a two-part Informational Series for community members and prospective School Board candidates who may be interested in learning more about what it means to serve on the school board on Nov. 18 and Dec. 9 at 6:15 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Lewisville ISD Administrative Center at 1565 W. Main St. Lewisville.

Please use THIS FORM to register and to RSVP for the session. Please note all attendees must be a Lewisville ISD resident to register for this series. 

The first session is designed to educate community members on district operations and district governance. LISD Board President Jenny Proznik will provide an overview of:

• The roles and responsibilities of a school board member
• Expectations related to time, governance, and ethics
• Opportunities to engage with and support the district’s mission

Participation in this session does not represent a commitment to run for office, but is a chance to learn more about the role and the positive impact trustees have on public education in our community.
