LISD Board Calls for Special Election

The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees voted on Monday, August 25 to call for a special election to fill the vacant At-Large Place 6 seat previously held by Dr. Buddy Bonner, who resigned from the Board this summer. The seat’s unexpired term runs through May 2027.

The special election will be conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, in conjunction with the General Election. Candidate filing will be open through Sept. 3, 2025 at 5 p.m.  Additional information, including key dates and filing details, can be found on the district’s website.
